Master Chorale of South Florida
Announces Auditions for the 2009-2010 Season

Ft. Lauderdale, FL, July 22, 2009 - The Master Chorale of South Florida, the region’s premier classical choral ensemble, will audition singers in all voice parts on Monday, August 10, from 6:00-10:00 p.m. and on Saturday, August 15, from 12 noon-5:00 p.m. at ArtServe, 1350 E. Sunrise Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304.

Auditioners should prepare a piece of their choice and bring an extra copy for the accompanist. Sight-singing and tonal memory tests will be given.

Starting August 17, the Master Chorale of South Florida will begin regular rehearsals under the direction of Dr. Joshua Habermann. The group rehearses every Monday night from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. in the new, acoustically pleasing sanctuary at Christ Lutheran Church, 1955 E. Oakland Park Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33306.

Concerts will take place in October, December and April throughout the tri-county area. The season includes concerts conducted by Michael Tilson-Thomas, James Judd and Dr. Habermann.
