| |
The Master Chorale of South Florida is pleased to once again have been featured on the program with Andrea Bocelli when the celebrated Italian tenor performed at the BankAtlantic Center on February 14, 2011.
It is the second time in two years the chorus has been invited to perform in concert with Mr. Bocelli, one of the most popular classical singers of our time. The first performance in November 2009 featured the debut of Bocelli’s Christmas CD My Christmas, and this performance debuted his newest CD Incanto.
The Valentine’s Day concert, entitled “A Night for Lovers,” featured a variety of opera arias and show tunes. The Master Chorale performed alone and with Mr. Bocelli in selections from Gounod's Faust, Verdi's Il trovatore and Handel's Messiah, as well as in Italian songs from Mr. Bocelli's Incanto CD.
